ICO Students Get Top Scores on NBEO

Students at the Illinois College of Optometry scored a passing rate of 96.6% on the Applied Basic Science examination of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.  The national passing rate for all takers was only 79%.  The faculty, administration, staff and your fellow students are very proud of this outstanding accomplishment!

As a faculty member of this great institution, I am very proud of all of my students at ICO. Our students continue to score very high on NBEO examinations, 20%+ go on to residencies and all are successful in their chosen field of optometry.
