If you love coffee, chocolate and ice cream, do I have a wonderful recipe for you! You might want to  serve this with a bit of bittersweet chocolate syrup and/or cocoa nibs. Use the best quality ice cream you can find and take the time to brew the espresso. Freeze the  balls of ice cream individually so they don't melt as quickly with the addition of the espresso. For each glass use:

  • 1 to 2 shots of brewed espresso (warm or room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla or other flavored ice cream of your choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon chocolate syrup or sprinkling of cocoa nibs
Place ice cream in glass and drizzle with the chocolate syrup or add chocolate nibs if using. Pour espresso over ice cream and serve immediately.
